The International Team made a remarkable comeback at the Presidents Cup on Friday. After losing in all matches on Thursday at Royal Montreal, they turned things around by winning every match in the alternate shot format on Friday afternoon, leveling the score to 5-5 halfway through the tournament. This marked the first occurrence in both Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup history where two consecutive sessions were swept. It was also the International Team’s first win in an alternate shot session since 2005.
The competition continues on Saturday with two sessions: morning four-ball matches, followed by afternoon foursomes. These matches will lead into the decisive 12 singles matches on Sunday.
